Financial literacy is something close to my heart as I grew up with little financial headstart and I wish that my parents had better financial teachings when they were younger.
I like the analogy of penguins. Penguins are not meant for the skies but they cruise through the ocean with ease and elegance. Similarly, we may not be rich but if armed with sound financial knowledge, we can also cruise the financial ocean with ease and have a secure future like the penguins.
However, the financial ocean is filled with both treasures and traps. Therefore, rather swimming aimlessly, we need to be more discerning with our choices. With limited capital, we can't really afford to make too many mistakes. We need to select a portfolio of good investments which suits our yield and risk appetite, much like a curator collecting a museum of collectibles.
Therefore, after much thoughts, I decided to name this blog as such. Hope you enjoy reading the blog and even more, find it useful.
